Elizabeth Halvorsen

Elizabeth Halvorsen has extensive experience in educational support and counseling, currently serving as a School Counselor at Duanesburg Central Schools since July 2014, where a comprehensive guidance curriculum for grades 6-12 is provided, with an emphasis on college and career exploration. Additionally, Elizabeth has worked at Algonquin Regional High School since August 2005, assisting high school students in areas including academic management and college readiness. Alongside counseling, Elizabeth is a licensed BarSculpt Instructor, offering fitness classes to both groups and individuals since November 2012. Prior teaching roles include serving as a science teacher for 8th graders at Town of Framingham and for high school students at Bishop Maginn High School. Educational credentials include a Master's in Education from Boston University and two Master's degrees in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the State University of New York College at Potsdam.
