Jennifer Garcia, Ed.D., has extensive experience in special education, currently serving as a SELPA Home & Hospital Special Education Teacher for Duarte Unified School District since 2013, providing home instruction for moderate to severe students in the West San Gabriel Valley. Prior roles include a TK-1st Grade Special Education Teacher at Valley View Academy of Technology & Creative Learning, where responsibilities included deaning and coordinating extracurricular activities, and a 6th Grade Multiple Subjects Teacher, focused on creating engaging learning environments. Jennifer has also worked as a Home Hospital Teacher for students unable to attend school due to medical conditions, and as a Long Term Substitute Teacher in various elementary settings. Jennifer's earlier experience includes a leadership role as a Mental Health Technician at BHC Alhambra Hospital, Inc. Jennifer holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California, along with multiple credentials and degrees in education and psychology.
