Sami Abuzineh Cia

Sami Abuzineh has extensive work experience in risk management, compliance, and internal control. Sami Abuzineh served as the Head of Risk Management & Compliance at Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects since 2013. From 2010 to 2013, they held the position of Head of Internal Control at Gulf Navigation Holding PJSC. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Roads and Transport Authority from 2007 to 2010 and as an Operations Officer at Arab Bank from 2001 to 2004.

Sami Abuzineh has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Jordan, which was earned from 1997 to 2001. Sami Abuzineh also holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting with a specialization in Advanced Financial Information System from the Hanken School of Economics, obtained from 2004 to 2006. Sami has pursued specialized certifications in the field of internal auditing, including a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors in 2011, a Certified Control Self-Assessment (CCSA) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors, USA in 2012, and a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors in 2011. Additionally, in 2008, they obtained a Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA) certification from the Institute of Internal Control. In 2018, Sami attended the Project Management Institute to complete a certification in Project Risk Management (PMI-RMP).
