Maha Al Gargawi has held various positions throughout their work experience. Maha started their career as a Trainee Lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP from February 2010 and continued until 2011. Following this, they joined Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and worked as a Legal Associate from September 2011 to March 2013. Maha then held the position of Legal Counsel from March 2013 to May 2014, and later became an Associate General Counsel from May 2014 to May 2016.
In 2016, Maha joined Expo 2020 Dubai, where they took on various roles. Maha served as the Director of International Affairs from July 2016 to March 2019, the Vice President of International Participants from March 2019 to March 2020, the Vice President of Political Affairs from March 2020 to March 2021, and the Senior Vice President of Political Affairs from March 2021 to June 2022.
In 2017, Maha became a Board Member at the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK).
Currently, Maha Al Gargawi is working at Dubai Chambers. Maha started their journey with the company in September 2022 as the Executive Director of Business Advocacy and then became the Vice President of Business Advocacy in March 2023.
Maha Al Gargawi's education history includes earning a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Commercial Law from UCL in 2009 and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law from Oxford Brookes University from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, Maha completed an executive leadership program in association with UC Berkeley and Imperial College London at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development in 2021.
