Sophia Demetriades Toftdahl has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sophia currently works as the Chief Representative Australia at Dubai Chambers, where they support the business community in Dubai and promotes Dubai as an international business hub. Prior to this, they served as a Board Director and President at the Norwegian Australian Chamber of Commerce (NACC). Sophia Demetriades Toftdahl has a diverse education history. In 1997-2000, they attended Manglerud vgs, where they pursued a degree in Fine Arts and Art History. Following this, in 2002, they studied Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Oslo (UiO) before transferring to Western Sydney University in 2003. At Western Sydney University, Sophia earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a specialization in Journalism. Sophia then attended TAFE NSW in 2006, where they focused on Aboriginal Studies.

In terms of higher education, Sophia completed a Master of Business Management (MBM) degree from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2011-2012, with a concentration in Corporate Communication and Go-to-Market Strategy. Continuing their professional development, they attained a Small Business Management and Operation certification from ActionCOACH in 2009. Moreover, Sophia underwent training in organisational coaching, earning a Certified Organisational Coach (Level 1) certification from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL) in 2022.
