Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation
Mirko Daneluzzo serves as the Head of Design at Nyxo Ltd since February 2015 and has held a position as a Lecturer at the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation since May 2018. Additionally, Mirko is a member of the Scientific Board at diid.disegno industriale industrial design and previously worked as a Professor in Design Laboratory at LABA Libera Accademia Belle Arti, Rimini from November 2012 to February 2018. Prior experience includes ownership and design work at disguincio&co, 3D modeling and computational design at Libera Accademia Belle Arti, and an assistant professorship at IUAV. Early career roles featured contributions in co-art direction at Disguincio srl, and design assistance at ootworld and Liquentia srl. Mirko holds a Master of Science in Architecture from the University of Applied Arts Vienna and a degree from Università Iuav di Venezia.

In collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and The New School’s Parsons School of Design, Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI) is a private, non-profit university, located at Dubai Design District (d3), accredited by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. With its first intake in 2018, DIDI is focused on nurturing, mentoring and creating the next generation of designers. The curriculum is designed to empower students to map out their own four-year educational journey, culminating in the region’s first Integrated Bachelor of Design degree, with a choice of concentration in the areas of Product Design, Multimedia Design, Fashion Design and Strategic Design Management.
