Neha Chowdhary is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Assistant Director - Tax & Compliance at Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority since October 2022. Prior to this, Neha held the position of Indirect Tax Manager at PwC from June 2017 to September 2022, managing VAT compliance and advisory for a major Real Estate Group in the UAE. Neha's expertise includes VAT implementation in various sectors such as Real Estate, Construction, Transport, and Logistics, as well as indirect taxation in India. Neha's earlier roles include Tax Consultant at EY, Senior Associate at BMR Advisors, and Tax Consultant at DSV & Associates, focusing on indirect taxes like VAT and GST, along with tax litigation and due diligence. Neha holds a Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretary qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, respectively, along with a B.Com (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Calcutta.
