Hesham Sobhy

Hesham Sobhy, CPA, currently serves as Finance Manager at Dubai Islamic Bank since November 2022, overseeing finance operations in the Islamic financial services sector. Previously, from 2017 to 2022, Hesham held a similar position at Souq Extra, where responsibilities included managing the finance and accounting functions, leading a team, and liaising with executive leadership and external stakeholders. Between 2012 and 2017, Hesham worked at KPMG Lower Gulf as a Senior Auditor, managing over 25 audit engagements for financial institutions and ensuring compliance with Central Bank of UAE regulations and IFRS standards. Hesham holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah, obtained in 2012.
