Ibrahim Iqbal

Ibrahim Iqbal is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in digital transformation and customer innovation at Dubai Islamic Bank since 2005, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Platforms. Iqbal has held various leadership roles, including overseeing interactive banking and CRM operations, managing strategic IT projects, and driving organizational innovation initiatives. With a strong foundation in project management and a history of successfully implementing large-scale projects, including the Core Banking project, Iqbal has demonstrated expertise in enhancing customer experience and fostering collaboration across functions. Prior to Dubai Islamic Bank, Iqbal held positions at Emirates Islamic Bank, Emirates Bank, and Mashreqbank, building a robust background in strategic planning, operations, and information systems. Iqbal holds an MBA in Finance from Greenwich University and a BCS in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
