Imran Kasam Shaikh has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Imran Kasam began their career as a Project Accountant at Qatar Kentz Co. in 2004, then moved on to KPMG Saudi Arabia, where they worked as an Audit Supervisor from 2004 to 2009. Imran Kasam then joined Bank Albilad as a Financial Analyst - MIS from 2009 to 2010. From there, they joined Dubai Islamic Bank, starting as an Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting in 2010 and progressing to Manager, Senior Manager, AVP, and eventually Vice President - Head of MIS & Budgeting.

Imran Kasam Shaikh completed a CA (Chartered Accountancy) degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2000 to 2004. Imran Kasam also obtained an M.Com (Master of Commerce) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai from 1997 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, they received Agile Leadership certification from edX (University of Maryland) in 2019 and became an Authorised Training Principal from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2017.
