Javier Marin Romano

Javier Marin Romano is the current director at Dubai Islamic Bank. Prior to this, they worked as consejero delegado at Banco Santander from April 2013 to January 2015. Javier was also responsible for the divisions of banca privada, gestión de activos y seguros a nivel Grupo at the same company from January 2007 to December 2013. Javier Marin Romano is also a founding member of Allfunds Bank, where they served as consejero from January 2000 to December 2008. Prior to their work in the banking industry, Javier Marin Romano worked as jefe del gabinete del presidente at Banco Santander from January 1995 to December 1999.

Javier Marin Romano studied at Singularity University, where they earned an executive degree. Javier also holds a Master in Banking from the Institut International d'Etudes Bancaires, and a Master en Asesoría Fiscal from ICADE. Finally, they have an ICADE 1 - Letrado Asesor de Empresas degree in Derecho y Empresariales from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas - ICADE.
