VP - Home Finance Product & Business Value Generation at Dubai Islamic Bank

Omar Hameed has a solid work experience, beginning in 2001 as a Marketing Manager at DHL, where they developed and monitored marketing plans. Omar then moved on to Tech Access FZ LLC in 2006, where they served as a Marketing Manager, responsible for channel marketing and distribution activities in the MENA region. In 2007, they joined Barclays Bank as a Campaigns & Performance Manager, where they played a key role in launching new products and services. In 2011, they joined Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank as the Head of Instant Finance, where they successfully launched and expanded various retail asset portfolios and lifestyle products. Most recently, since 2014, they have been working at Dubai Islamic Bank, holding various roles in the Home Finance department, including VP and AVP positions.

Omar Hameed holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from Greenwich University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Finance & Banking from the same institution. Omar completed their A Levels at Beaconhouse Public School and their O Levels at St. Michael's Convent. Omar also attended Foundation Public School for elementary school. In addition to their formal education, Omar has obtained several certifications, including Certified Product Manager from AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management, Digital Marketing Strategies & Tactics from Leadership & Innovation Learning Institute, Design Thinking: Customer Experience from LinkedIn, MI Tree of Happiness from Excelledia, and Certified Innovation Leader from AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management.
