Umair Kadir is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in internal auditing and financial controls. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President of Group Internal Audit at Dubai Islamic Bank since June 2015, Umair conducts comprehensive audits of various consumer banking products. Prior roles include Resident Vice President and Unit Head of Internal Controls at Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) Limited, Manager of Internal Audit at Burj Bank Limited, and Assistant Manager of Internal Audit at Meezan Bank Ltd. Umair also has a strong foundation in external auditing from a role at Ernst & Young in Pakistan and Kuwait, where various audit and assurance services were provided to a range of organizations. Umair holds multiple professional qualifications, including ACCA, CIA, CISA, and UAECA, complemented by an MBA in Banking & Finance and a Bachelor's in Commerce.
