Alaa Zidane

Alaa Zidane has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Starting in 2007, Alaa worked as a Laboratory Teacher at Tishreen University in Latakia, Syria. In 2008, Alaa joined the Ministry of Education in Damascus as a Co-ordinator of the education minister's office. Alaa then transitioned to the media industry, working as a Web Content Editor & Social Media Specialist at Dubai Media Incorporated from January 2012 to January 2014. Alaa later became the Social Media Lead at the same company, starting in February 2014. In 2015, Alaa joined Sky News Arabia as a Social Media Producer and worked there until November 2016. Overall, Alaa’s experience includes roles in education, media, and social media management.

Alaa Zidane completed a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Tishreen University, which took place from 2002 to 2007. Later, from 2010 to 2011, Alaa pursued an MSc in Web Technology at the University of Southampton. In terms of additional certifications, Alaa obtained various certifications including Foundations of Social Advocacy and Social Selling Certification from Hootsuite Academy in May 2021, as well as Talkwalker Mountain Climber Program (Project Lead) certification from Talkwalker in May 2021. Additionally, Alaa achieved Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite Academy in April 2021.
