Hamid al Ali

Hamid Al Ali is currently an Emirates News Anchor at Dubai Media Incorporated and has served as Assistant Manager - Future Foresight Technology at Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) since July 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing a research team and leading innovative projects, such as DEWA's first AI-generated marketing video. Hamid previously held the role of Innovation Engineer, contributing to start-up ideas in collaboration with BCG Digital Ventures and achieving ISO 56002 certification for DEWA. Additionally, Hamid worked as a Government Social Media Presenter at Visioneers and underwent training with the UAE Armed Forces, being shortlisted for the Astronaut Selection Program. Education includes a Master of Engineering in Engineering Leadership and Innovation Management and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
