Alaa Zayed

Alaa Zayed has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Currently, they serve as the Head of English Department at Dubai Modern Education School. Prior to this, they worked as the Regional English Academic Supervisor at Ma'arif for Education and Training, where they supervised various national schools and developed English action plans and remedial plans for low achievers. Alaa was also a member of the APTIS Target Plan for all Ma'arif and GEMS National Schools in KSA. Earlier in their career, Alaa worked as a Middle and High School English Teacher at Inspire International Academy, where they taught IGCSE English and organized various activities and competitions. Alaa also served as a Primary School Teacher at Ma'arif for Education and Training.

Alaa Zayed pursued their education at Governors State University from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they attained an Associate of Arts degree with a major in English Language and Literature. In the year 2022, they enrolled in BACT Training where they are expected to complete a Diploma of Education in the field of Education by 2023.
