Mustafa Abou-Elmal

Mustafa Abou-Elmal has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Mustafa started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Sharqan Electrical and Sanitary Contracting in 2005, where they were responsible for site supervision and control. Mustafa then joined Syro-Tech Electromechanical Contracting LLC in 2006 as a MEP Coordinator, overseeing the coordination and procurement of MEP services for projects.

In 2007, Mustafa joined Al Gurg Consultants as a Senior Electrical Engineer in the MEP Division. Here, they had responsibilities such as coordinating with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors, reviewing and checking workshop drawings, and conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved specifications.

Since 2009, Mustafa has been working at Dubai Municipality as a Principal Electrical Engineer in the General Projects Department. Mustafa'sresponsibilities include project management, electrical design and construction supervision, and coordination with Dubai Authorities for services connection. Mustafa is also involved in reviewing and studying energy-efficient and sustainable systems for implementation in projects.

Throughout their career, Mustafa has also participated in international exhibitions and awarding programs relevant to their field.

Mustafa Abou-Elmal obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Power Systems from Minufiya University between 1998 and 2003. Mustafa then went on to complete their Master of Renewable Energy Engineering at Heriot-Watt University from 2016 to 2018, focusing on Renewable Energies.
