Barry Hanley

Barry Hanley is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in the petroleum sector. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Dubai Petroleum since August 2009, Barry has also held roles as Head of Engineering and Head of Projects within the company. Prior to this, Barry worked as Lead Facilities Engineer on the Dubai Petroleum CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery Project at Ingen Ideas Limited, and as Lead Process Engineer and Technical Authority at Wood Group from 2000 to 2008. Earlier career experience includes serving as Senior Process Engineer on the Elgin Franklin Project at McDermott International and as a Process Engineer at Stone & Webster. Barry holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, earned between 1988 and 1992.
