John Frewin

John Frewin is an experienced HSE professional with a robust background in health, safety, and environmental management specifically within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the HSE Manager for Dubai Petroleum since November 2017, John provides critical support to Well Operations, Completions, and Well Testing teams. Previously, John held various HSE roles including Drilling Safety Advisor at DNO ASA, HSE Consultant at HSE Consulting, and Regional HSE Manager at Mitra Energy Limited, among others. With a career spanning over two decades, John has developed and implemented comprehensive HSE management systems, conducted extensive training, and monitored compliance with safety regulations across multiple operational regions. John holds a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and has a high school diploma from George Watsons College in Edinburgh.
