Ian Devine has extensive work experience in the field of infrastructure and asset management. Ian currently holds the position of Head of Asset Management at Dublin Airport DUB, where they are responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of all assets across the airport campus. Prior to this, Ian was the Head of Asset Care - Airfield at daa Group, where they focused on maintaining and preserving the airfield assets. Ian also served as a Senior Project Manager at Dublin Airport Authority, where they oversaw various projects from 2002 to 2011. Ian began their career as a Site Engineer at Uniform Construction, where they were involved in managing construction sites.

Ian Devine has a diverse education history. In 1998, they attended the University of Dundee, where they obtained an Hons Degree in Civil Engineering. After a few years, in 2005, they enrolled in Dundalk Institute of Technology to pursue a Diploma in Civil Engineering, which they completed in 2008. During this time, in 2006, they also attended Trinity College Dublin and earned a Diploma in Project Management. In 2007, Ian Devine pursued a Charter Accreditation from Engineers Ireland, specializing in Chartered Engineering, which they completed in 2008 as well. Ian'smost recent educational endeavor took place in 2019-2020 at the Irish Management Institute, where they earned a Professional Diploma in Leadership, concentrating on the field of study in Leadership.
