Iseult Dunne

CEO at Dublin City Council Culture

Iseult Dunne is a Dublin-based cultural producer. Iseult has worked on a number of high-profile events in the city, including the 50th International Eucharistic Congress, Dublin Contemporary, and the Bram Stoker Festival.

Byrne began their career in event management, working on the Main Arena Events for the 50th International Eucharistic Congress. Iseult then moved into cultural production, working as the Festival Producer for the Big House Festival.

In 2016, Byrne was appointed Director of Dublin’s Culture Connects, a position they held for three years. During their tenure, they oversaw the delivery of a range of cultural initiatives across the city, including the development of Dublin’s first Creative Quarter.

In 2019, Byrne was appointed CEO of Dublin City Council Culture. In this role, they are responsible for leading the delivery of Dublin City Council’s Culture Strategy.

Iseult Byrne has a post graduate diploma in Business to Business Marketing from the Technological University Dublin, a BA in Philosophy & Classical Civilization from Trinity College Dublin, and a degree from St Killians German School.
