Damien McMahon

Senior Social Worker/ Local Authority Lead At The National Soram Office at Dublin City Council

Damien McMahon has extensive experience in social work, with their most recent role being as a Senior Social Worker/Local Authority Lead at the National SORAM Office in Dublin City Council since January 2022. Prior to this, Damien worked as a Housing Social Worker at Clare County Council from September 2015 to February 2022. Damien also worked as a Social Worker at the Child and Family Agency from November 2014 to August 2015.

Damien McMahon completed their education at several institutions. Starting in 2003, they attended Mary Immaculate College in Ireland, where they studied History and Media and graduated in 2007. Damien continued their education at University College Cork from 2010 to 2011, earning a Higher Diploma in Social Policy. Finally, from 2012 to 2014, Damien pursued a Master's degree in Social Work at University College Cork.
