Amanda Dillon

Principal Investigator: Nisar Research Project at Dublin City University

Amanda Dillon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple institutions and roles. Amanda is currently serving as the Principal Investigator for the NISAR Research Project at Dublin City University since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Waterford Institute of Technology from 2016 to May 2022. Amanda also held the position of Assistant Professor at Dublin City University from September 2020 to August 2021. Before that, they worked as a Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin from September 2019 to August 2020. Amanda's earlier roles include serving as an Academic Supervisor at All Hallows College, DCU from 2010 to 2014 and as a Marketing Manager at Milltown Institute of Theology & Philosophy from 2007 to 2009. Amanda began their career as a Justice and Development Officer at the Irish Missionary Union from 2004 to 2006.

Amanda Dillon holds a PhD in Biblical Studies from Dublin City University. Amanda also has an MA in Biblical Studies from Heythrop College, U. of London and a BA (Hons) in Theology and Anthropology from KMI Institute. Amanda also has a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and a National Diploma in Graphic Design, both from Durban University of Technology. Amanda completed their education at Durban Girls' College.
