Julie Goguen

Julie Goguen has been working in the design field since 2004. Julie began as a Freelance Graphic Designer, working with clients to create print design materials such as ads, brochures, logos, catalogs, presentations, posters, and invitations for various industries. In 2006, they joined Porter Design as a Senior Graphic Designer/Associate Creative Director, where they planned and managed multi-faceted and specialized projects from creation through delivery. Julie also trained, supervised, and managed junior designers and interns. In 2009, they became the Creative Director at Hawley, LLC, where they directed and coached designers and photographers throughout the creative process. In 2013, they took on the role of Acting Art Director at First Citizens Bank. Finally, in 2015, they joined DuBose Web Group as a Senior UI/UX Designer, where they initiated market research for various clients to increase brand awareness and drive ROI. Julie was later promoted to Digital Creative Director, where they built and managed the creative team and provided feedback to cultivate individual growth.

Julie Goguen obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Graphic Design from the University of South Carolina between 2001 and 2004. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: Membership Certificate from the Interaction Design Foundation in September 2020, Growth Driven Design from HubSpot Academy in July 2017, and Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy in May 2017.
