Dafydd Bevil

Dafydd Bevil serves as Principal Horn for the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra since 2017 and has held the position of Acting 3rd Horn. Additionally, Dafydd has been an Associate Lecturer of Horn at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater since June 2018 and maintains a freelance horn career since 2012. Substitute Horn roles include positions with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, and Beloit Janesville Symphony since 2017, 2015, and 2014, respectively. Dafydd was also an Associate Member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago from June 2013 to June 2014 and played Horn with the Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra from 2011 to 2013. Educationally, Dafydd holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Horn from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Music in Horn Performance from Roosevelt University, and a Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance from Louisiana State University.
