Michael Maganuco

Harpist (acting Principal) at Dubuque Symphony Orchestra

Michael Maganuco is a highly accomplished harpist with extensive experience in various orchestras and educational institutions. Currently serving as the Principal Harpist for the Jackson Symphony Orchestra since August 2024 and as a Harp Instructor at Kalamazoo College, Michael also holds positions as a Guest Principal Harpist with the South Bend Symphony Orchestra and has been a Principal Harpist with Lakeview Orchestra since 2014. Michael's previous roles include Acting Principal Harpist for the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra and Resident Harpist at DePaul University. Additionally, Michael has a strong background in teaching, having instructed at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Stevenson High School, and New Trier High School District. Michael earned a Master’s Degree in Harp Performance from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Harp Performance & Theory/Composition from Boston University.
