Aron Rogers

Aron Rogers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Aron started their career as a Sr. EAI Developer at Boomboat, where they developed an EAI Hub for Bell Canada's Workforce Management process. Aron then moved on to Rogers Communications Inc. as a Sr. EAI Developer, where they designed and developed integration components for the Sprint account conversion project. Aron later worked at John Hancock Life Insurance Company as a Sr. J2EE/Web Developer before joining Cundari as a BRC Site Architect, where they architected and led the development of a resource centre web application for TELUS Talks Business.

In 2008, Aron joined the Ministry of Government Services as a Technical Architect, leading the development of the Enterprise Administrative System (EASY) project. Aron produced and received approval for Zachman framework architectural artifacts. After their time at the Ministry, Aron worked at Tangerine, initially as a Mobile Applications Manager, leading the strategy, design, and development of the Tangerine mobile applications.

Aron then transitioned to the role of Product Owner, Strategy, R&D, where they were responsible for the Forward Banking Experience (FBE) program, focused on improving client experience. Aron also served as a Senior Digital Product Owner, Client Experience, for "Team Tangerine," working on initiatives to enhance customer service.

Next, Aron joined Capco as a Client Engagement Manager before moving to DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd. as AVP, Application Services. In this role, they were accountable for DUCA's software applications and digital transformation strategy, managing key enterprise initiatives. Aron then became VP, Centralized Operations at DUCA, overseeing operations strategy and leading initiatives to improve efficiency and member experience.

Most recently, Aron Rogers held the position of VP, Digital Engineering at Aviva Canada, responsible for driving digital engineering initiatives. Aron is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd. Overall, Aron has demonstrated expertise in technology, leadership, and driving digital transformation across the organizations they have worked for.

Aron Rogers pursued their higher education from 1994 to 1999 at the University of Waterloo. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in System Design Engineering. Apart from their formal education, Aron Rogers also obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org in November 2017.
