Wendy Birt

Wendy Birt, CHRP, possesses extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as a Senior Manager of HR Operations at DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd. since April 2016. Wendy's responsibilities encompass advising on employee relations, leading HR policy development, managing HRIS and payroll systems, and overseeing medical leaves. Additionally, Wendy contributes to volunteer efforts on the Human Resources Committee for Inside Out, a charity focused on LGBTQ2S+ inclusion in the film industry. Previous roles include office management and client services at Yeti Law Professional Corporation, where Wendy demonstrated leadership in team management and project execution. Wendy is an alumna of Western University with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and Art History and has a background in community engagement through project collaborations in different arts and cultural initiatives.
