Abrar Nazir

Abrar Nazir has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. Abrar started as a Midshipman in the Royal Naval Reserve, where they gained skills in navigation, seamanship, and leadership. After that, they worked as a Mixed Staff Supervisor at Splendid.co.uk. In 2014, they were the eCommerce Executive at Arcade International, responsible for managing the eCommerce functions for the company's web stores. Abrar then moved on to Intelligent People Limited as a Recruitment Consultant, specializing in placing candidates in Digital Marketing, Product Management, and eCommerce. Abrar joined hackajob as a Lead Talent Advocate in 2017 before becoming a Talent Acquisition Partner at TrueLayer in 2018. At TrueLayer, they played a key role in growing the team from 15 to 300 employees, particularly focusing on Engineering, Design, and Analytics. Currently, Abrar works as a Talent Acquisition Manager at DuckDuckGo, starting in 2021.
