Magdalena W. is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and leadership, currently serving as Director of Product Design at DuckDuckGo since August 2025. Co-Founder and podcast host of Bird since August 2014, Magdalena has also held significant roles including Lead Product Designer at HOVER Inc., where recognition was received as the recipient of the Company Values Award in 2024, and Associate Design Director at Work & Co. Previous positions include Director of Experience at Kooth plc, Principal Experience Designer at Transport for London, and Senior Art Director at Huge, among others. Magdalena's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London and a Bachelor’s degree in Media/Multimedia Production from the University of Canberra.
