Silje Strøm Solberg has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. In 2007, they ran a sole proprietorship as a Building Joiner, working on various small-scale renovation projects part-time. In 2010, they worked as an Eider duck keeper for The Vega Archipelago World Heritage. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Master of Architecture at SINTEF Building and Infrastructure, where they developed teaching material for students in the field of User-centered Architecture and Universal Design strategy, and was involved in projects from designing sustainable neighbourhoods for elderly to energy efficient renovation in the single-family house segment. In 2014, they became Co-Founder and Sustainability Expert at Ducky.eco. In 2015, they began working part-time as an Architect for herself, and also took on a role as Lecturer at NTNU.
Silje Strøm Solberg completed a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2006 and 2012, focusing on Sustainability, Housing, User-centered architecture, BIM, and Innovation. In 2011, they took an exchange semester at the Technical University of Munich in Architecture. Prior to this, they completed a Svennebrev, tømrer course between 2004 and 2006.
