Amy Urena has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Amy started their career as an HR Intern at Ducommun Incorporated in June 2011 and later worked as an HRIS Analyst from April 2012 to January 2017. Amy then advanced to the role of HRIS Manager from January 2017 to August 2020. Amy was further promoted to Senior Manager, HR Shared Services in August 2020 and recently became the Director of HR Shared Services in September 2022, where they are currently employed. Prior to their work at Ducommun, Amy served as a Graduate Assistant in Athletics at the University of La Verne from August 2010 to April 2012.
Amy Urena earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing & Human Resource Management from Boston College in 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Organizational Leadership at the University of La Verne. Additionally, Amy obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in February 2015.
