Jason Herterich is an experienced energy consultant and data analyst currently working at Brightly in the Sustainability and Energy Analytics Team since October 2022. Prior to this role, Jason held the position of 2022 Journalism Fellow at The Local Magazine, where investigative reporting focused on the Toronto Transit Commission's Family of Services program. As a TD Fellow on Disability and Inclusion at The Walrus, Jason produced a podcast discussing the future of the Internet in Canada. With a strong background in podcasting, Jason co-hosted and founded several shows, including Discomfort Zone Podcast and Invisible Not Broken Podcast Network, both addressing chronic illness and disability issues. Previous experience includes roles as an energy analyst at Energy Profiles Limited and a project manager at Queen's University, where Jason supervised engineering students on solar panel efficiency projects. Jason holds a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from the Stephen J. R. Smith Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Queen's University.
