Scott Kupres has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Scott started their career as a Business Development Intern at Gerson Lehrman Group in 2012. Scott then worked as a Summer Analyst at Conventions, Sports & Leisure International in 2013, where they assisted with feasibility and market studies in the sports and entertainment industries.
In 2014, Scott joined Raymond James as an Investment Banking Analyst, supporting the execution of various engagements, including M&A transactions, capital offerings, and strategic advisory assignments. Scott played a key role in preparing deliverables and conducting due diligence.
Scott's next role was at Brightly in 2017, where they initially served as a Senior Associate in Strategy & Corporate Development. Scott provided analytical, strategic, and modeling support to the leadership team of a private equity-backed SaaS company. Scott was involved in various projects, such as rebuilding the compensation structure, partnering with consulting teams, and developing business cases. Scott eventually became a Senior Analyst in Finance, responsible for financial modeling, pipeline forecasting, P&L analysis, and audit support.
In 2020, Scott joined Businessolver as a Manager in Strategic Projects, overseeing key initiatives. Later that year, they moved to Four Winds Interactive as a Director of Strategic Programs, responsible for managing strategic projects. In 2022, Scott joined Files.com as the VP of Special Operations, and in 2023, they transitioned to Brightly as the Director of Strategic Initiatives.
Scott Kupres obtained their B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Scott completed their undergraduate education from 2010 to 2014 at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
