Shana Carey

Shana Carey has extensive experience in biology, currently serving as a Biologist at Dudek since December 2015. Prior to this role, Shana worked as a Seasonal Field Technician and blunt-nosed leopard lizard surveyor at MESA Biological, LLC, where responsibilities included conducting biological surveys in the southern San Joaquin Valley. Shana also held the position of Scientific Aide at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, assisting with research and monitoring efforts for endangered species, and served as a Research Assistant at California State University, Bakersfield, focusing on plant tissue analysis and laboratory management. Shana holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University, Bakersfield, and an Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Irvine Valley College.
