Steve Deering

As-needed Principal Engineer at Dudek

Steve Deering has extensive experience in civil and sanitary engineering, currently serving as an As-Needed Principal Engineer at Dudek since 1985, providing support to staff and clients as requested. Prior to this role, Steve was the Chief Engineer, working under contract for public agencies on the design and construction of wastewater, water, and recycled water infrastructure. Steve also acted as District Engineer for the Leucadia Wastewater District, overseeing a service area for 30,000 equivalent dwelling units. Earlier in their career, from 1973 to 1985, Steve worked as a Project Manager at Engineering-Science / Ralph Parsons, contributing to projects in various locations including San Diego, Kathmandu, and Colombo. Steve holds a Master of Science in Civil Sanitary Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tufts University.
