Karl Townsend

Karl Townsend has extensive experience in the education and electrical installation sectors, currently serving as Curriculum Manager and previously as Curriculum Coordinator for Construction at Dudley College since August 2017. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Electrical Installation at South & City College Birmingham and Programme Area Manager at both Birmingham Metropolitan College and Stourbridge College of FE. Karl’s background also includes positions at Dudley College as Senior Tutor and Lecturer in Electrical Installation, and various engineering roles in the electrical field dating back to 1987. This diverse experience underscores a strong foundation in both educational management and practical electrical engineering.
