Cecilia Otamendi

Cecilia Otamendi has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and travel industry. Cecilia is currently working as a Technical Support Specialist at Duetto since April 2022. Previously, from October 2021 to April 2022, they worked at DOT Hotels as part of the customer onboarding project, ensuring timely completion and collaborating with various teams. Cecilia also worked as an Account Manager at DOT Hotels from November 2020 to September 2021, where they maintained customer contact, resolved issues, and coordinated processes with cross-functional teams.

Before joining DOT Hotels, Cecilia worked as a Revenue Manager at GuruHotel from November 2019 to November 2020, where they were responsible for rate and room management and implemented rate codes and policies for various channels.

Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Despegar.com, including Digital Solution Manager from May 2015 to November 2019, Market Manager for Chile & Juniper from June 2012 to June 2015, Market Manager for Chile, Paraguay, and Bolivia from August 2010 to May 2012, and Market Manager for Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, and Bolivia from July 2009 to July 2010. In these roles, they managed teams, analyzed regions, and contributed to the commercial development of the company's hotel products.

Cecilia's early career includes a role as Revenue Analyst at Eurostars from January 2008 to June 2009, where they analyzed competition, built pricing structures, provided support to the reservations department, and worked on revenue-related tasks.

Cecilia Otamendi completed their Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management (Administración/Gestión hotelera) from Universidad Caece Mar del Plata. Cecilia attended the university from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their degree, Cecilia has obtained several certifications. Cecilia received a certification in "Official Automation of Processes: The Path to Effective Direct Sales" from Travel Tech in December 2021. In September 2020, they acquired a certificate in "E-commerce" from Google Actívate. Cecilia also obtained a certification in "Digitalize Your Business Step-by-step with Google My Business and YouTube" from Google Actívate in September 2020.
