Giuseppe Pratolongo began their work experience in 1995 as a Steel Purchasing Manager Assistant at Tillet SA - ILVA Riva Group. Giuseppe then joined Duferco Belgium S.A. in 1998 where they held various roles including Through Process Quality Control Engineer for Heavy Plates and Coils, and later became the Flat Products Unit - Quality & Metallurgy Department Manager. In 2008, they joined SIF (NLMK, DUFERCO JV) as the Products & Quality Manager for Strips and Long Products Europe. In 2012, they became the Chief Technology Officer at NLMK Europe, and in 2013, they joined Duferco as the Technical Director for Industrial Projects.

From 1989 to 1994, Giuseppe Pratolongo attended the Università degli Studi di Genova, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Chemistry Engineering. Giuseppe achieved a grade of 109/110 during their studies.
