Miles Armstrong has a diverse work experience in various roles. Miles started their career at Apple as a Specialist from September 2010 to September 2011. Miles then interned at Netcraft for two consecutive years from June to September 2013 and 2014 as an Internet Services Developer. After that, they joined Netcraft as an Internet Services Developer from September 2015 to September 2016, where they developed systems for analyzing live malware, conducted web application security testing, and ran web server and SSL surveys.

In 2016, they moved to Songkick as a Software Developer, where they migrated a Go microservice, improved detection rate of a Ruby service, and presented progress to the wider business.

From 2017 to 2020, they worked at MOO in various roles, including Software Engineer II, Operations Engineer II, and Senior Operations Engineer. During this time, they focused on refactoring and performance improvements of Python APIs, migrated internal tools to AWS using Terraform and Ansible, and became a Tech Lead in the Platform team.

Their most recent work experience is at Lingumi, where they worked as a Senior Full Stack Engineer from August 2020 to August 2021. As the Tech Lead of a cross-functional product squad, they were responsible for ensuring technical feasibility of the product roadmap, developing the A/B testing framework, and delivering incremental improvements to the company's apps.

Currently, Miles Armstrong is working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Duffel from October 2021 onwards.

Miles Armstrong attended Ralph Allen Sixth Form College from 2008 to 2010, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Miles then went on to study at the University of Southampton from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science.
