Nicola O'Farrell

Nicola O'Farrell has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Nicola is currently the Head of Finance at Duffel, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Manager at Duffel from September 2019 to April 2020. Before joining Duffel, they were a Group Financial Accountant at Dogpatch Labs from March 2018 to June 2019. Nicola also worked as a Senior Associate at KPMG US from May 2017 to December 2017. Nicola has experience in treasury accounting from their role as a Treasury Accountant at BlaBlaCar from March 2016 to April 2017. Nicola also gained experience in group accounting as a Senior Group Accountant at Engine Lease Finance Corporation from April 2015 to January 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior in Financial Services Audit at KPMG Ireland from September 2011 to May 2015. Nicola's early work experience includes a supervisor role at Oasis Fashion from 2008 to 2011 and an internal audit internship at BNY Mellon from February 2010 to September 2010.

Nicola O'Farrell completed their tertiary education from 2007 to 2011 at the University of Limerick, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Law and Accounting. Before that, they attended Salesian Secondary College in Limerick from 2002 to 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further professional qualifications and earned an ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, completing their studies in 2014.
