Ron Bijman

Ron Bijman possesses extensive experience in research and development management across various industries. Currently serving as the Manager of the Competence Centre Products at Duijvelaar Pompen since June 2022, Ron is a member of the management team. Prior positions include Manager of Research & Development at Berg Hortimotive, focusing on machinery for greenhouse horticulture (April 2019 - June 2022), and at ABB, where the R&D department specialized in emergency lighting systems for EU and EMEA markets (July 2016 - March 2019). Ron's career began at Technotek BV as an Industrial Designer, advancing through roles including Manager of R&D at Thomas & Betts Netherlands BV and Project Director at FLEX.nl. Ron holds a degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology, earned from 1985 to 1991.
