Matthew O'Donnell's work experience includes an internship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2023, where they worked as a Data Management and Strategy Intern. Prior to that, in 2022, they worked as a Data Scientist at Duke Applied Machine Learning Group and also served as a Server at Tavern on the Wharf. In 2022, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Duke University Patek Lab, where they investigated the effects of ocean temperature on snapping shrimp claw kinematics and gained experience in data collection, experimental design, and statistical analysis. Before that, they worked as a Server at Olive Garden in 2021.

Matthew O'Donnell completed their high school education from Silver Lake Regional High School between 2017 and 2021, earning a High School Diploma. In 2020, they also achieved a Certified Completion of CS50's Introduction to Computer Science from HarvardX. Currently, Matthew is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Statistical Science at Duke University, expected to be completed between 2021 and 2025.
