Chloe van Voorhis

Chloe Van Voorhis is an undergraduate student at Duke University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Economics, with a study abroad experience at New York University in Florence. Chloe serves as the Vice President of Consulting for the Duke Association for Business Oriented Women, where responsibilities include organizing events to foster interest in the consulting industry and coordinating member connections with firms. Additional roles include a Business Analyst Intern at Capital One, a Research Intern at Issue One, and Project Director for Project Earth, a sustainability-focused orientation program for new students. Chloe has also engaged in research as an assistant in the Department of Political Science and the Social Science Research Institute, and volunteered through the Duke Partnership for Service Fellowship, providing mentorship to local youth on entrepreneurship initiatives.

Duke Association for Business Oriented Women

The Duke Association for Business Oriented Women seeks to empower business oriented female students by promoting education, experience, and exchange between interested students and outstanding industry professionals. ​ We serve to motivate and prepare young women in the Duke University community for careers in all types of business; be it advertising, consulting, finance, marketing, or public relations. ​ Duke BOW strives to accomplish this goal through student-led forums, skill-building workshops, and various guest speaker events that exemplify the triumphs of professional women. Such activities enable Duke women to guide their personal and professional development and prepare them for the diverse career opportunities awaiting them in the business world.
