Umang Dhingra

Peer Tutor at Duke Athletics

Umang Dhingra is an undergraduate student at Duke University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, alongside a Certificate in Child Policy Research. Currently serving as an Incoming Humanities at Hertog Fellow and Trinity Ambassador, Dhingra has gained extensive research experience, including roles as a Bass Connections Researcher and Teaching Assistant. Previous internships include positions at the Duke Global Health Institute and AVSI Foundation, contributing to projects in Uganda. Dhingra's background also includes serving as a member of USAID's Digital Youth Council and involvement in innovative programs focused on social change and cognitive neuroscience.
