Lori Doherty

Lori Doherty currently serves as the Director of Leadership Annual Giving & The Shingleton Society at Duke Cancer Institute, where responsibilities include fundraising and annual giving initiatives. As a business owner of Doherty Home Inspections since March 2017, Lori provides comprehensive residential inspection services in the Triangle/RDU area of North Carolina. Previously, as the Director of Development at Wine To Water, Lori led national and international fundraising initiatives while overseeing a fundraising team. Lori's extensive experience includes serving as the Deputy Director of Development at The National September 11 Memorial & Museum, where contributions supported a significant capital campaign, and as Facility Director at J. Reckner Associates, managing operations for market research. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Research Methodology/Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
