Travis Sinclair is the Director of Generation and Transmission Strategy Planning at Duke Energy Corporation, a position held since 2022. Previously, Travis served as Director of Strategic Business Planning at Duke Energy from 2018 to 2022 and as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2008 to 2022. With experience as a Design Engineer at Ralph Whitehead Associates, Inc. from 2000 to 2006, Travis also held teaching roles at Spartanburg Community College and the University of Hawaii - Manoa. Travis earned a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field, alongside specialized education in Urban Planning from Universidad de Cantabria.
