Tyson Grinstead

Tyson Grinstead is currently the State Energy Policy Director for Duke Energy, a position held since 2022. They earned a BS in Business Administration with a double major in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2008, followed by a JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2011. Prior to their current role, Tyson served as the Director of Public Policy at Sunrun from 2015 to 2022 and held several political positions, including Political Director for Lindsey Graham's 2014 Senate Campaign. Tyson is also pursuing a Certificate in Communications from Cornell University.
