Kristie Shytle

Kristie Shytle is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a robust background in both acute and primary care management. Currently serving at Duke Raleigh Hospital since July 2020, Kristie Shytle has designed and implemented a home-based primary care program for over 200 homebound patients, managed a team while fostering relationships with hospitals and home health companies, and provided acute care services as an adjunct hospitalist. Prior experience includes a role at Montgomery Medical Associates from 2013 to July 2020 and significant clinical duties at UNC Health Care, where Kristie Shytle worked across various inpatient units and held charge nurse responsibilities. Kristie Shytle holds a Master of Science in Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Western Carolina University.
