Tara Walczak-Daege

Tara Walczak-Daege has a significant amount of experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in perioperative services and surgical management. Tara is currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Perioperative Nursing at Duke University Health System, a position they started in 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Associate Chief Nursing Officer and Administrative Director of Surgical Services at Duke Raleigh Hospital, starting in 2015. From 2012 to 2015, Tara was the Executive Director of Surgical Services at St. Vincent Hospital, where they focused on strategic planning, physician collaboration, and building a strong surgical program.
